Once a busy tin mining and fishing village, Perranporth is now a charming seaside town with over 3 miles of golden sands which makes it a popular kite-surfing destination.
Rolling surf is great for body-boarding and the cliffs provide a great backdrop to a long amble along the long sands. The stream that runs through the town to the beach is popular with tiny tots for paddling and you'll find the usual seaside cafes and souvenir/beach shops close-by.
